It's no secret that the past few years have been nothing short of a steadily-building garbage fire. 2020, with COVID-19 and everything else that's been going on in the US, has been no exception. People have found their own ways to avoid the reality of the growing flames consuming us, whether through work, Netflix, video games, etc.

 

For me, it was through reading.

Who is the person behind the blog, you ask? It's me, Katie! I'm a Seattle local who spends most of her time inside because of the ⅔ of the year when it's cloudy and rainy outside. I love to read and be read to ever since I was a baby. Whenever I'm not reading, I'm usually watching Netflix, cruising my social media profiles, taking care of my houseplants, thinking about my next writing project, and dreaming about the many cats I will one day adopt.
